In your church
In your church
From our history in the vision and actions of a young Sunday school teacher at the end of the nineteenth century, our work has been grounded in the churches at local and national levels.
The churches constitute our core partners. We work very closely with the Church of England, and we are proud to work with all the major denominations and with other faiths, as part of a movement for change.
We hope that you will partner with us to realise our vision of a world where all children and young people are respected, valued and heard.
Resourcing our partnership with the Church
We want to equip you so that speaking about the needs of the disadvantaged children we help is as straightforward as possible.
We produce themed resources for key dates in the Church year such as Mothering Sunday, Advent, and Christmas, which are packed with service and Sunday school content that will inspire your ministry, and equip you with fresh talk ideas to speak about our work.
Our theology papers reflect on the issues affecting the young people we work with - poverty, neglect and debt, and demonstrate the intrinsic link between our Christian motivation and our work to create better lives for children.
Our monthly prayer email is a great way to keep up to date with information about the impact church support is having on the lives of young people, and how you can best pray for them.
The Church Team is always interested to hear your ideas on how we can improve or add to our resources in ways which churches would find helpful. You can also email us directly.
